Visionaries

Dwight Ross – President/CEO  
Dwight Ross was born in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica. He attended Wright’s Basic School, Spanish Town Primary, and St. Catherine High School. After graduating from St. Catherine High School, Dwight gained employment at Sherwin Williams W.I. Paint Company. During his employment, Dwight pursued professional courses in Supervisory Management and Inventory Management and was promoted to the position of Delivery Supervisor.  Dwight has also worked in various industries including transportation, production, accounting before transitioning to Sagicor Life (formerly Life of Jamaica) where he worked as an Insurance/ Financial Advisor.

 

He left the insurance industry to pursue his dreams; embarking on a career in the entertainment and media industry. There, he started his self-titled company "Dwight Ross/ Ross Entertainment” where he offered services as a professional emcee. Dwight was also contracted to RJR Communications Group - Fame 95FM for three years as a Presenter and Co-host of the popular morning program "Full House Friday”.  He is a social media sensation and has done many stints on the hit Jamaican TV Comedy show Ity and Fancy Cat show for over eight years.  
Dwight is married to Joan Ross, he’s a father, a businessman, the President and CEO of Barrelman Radio/ BarrelNation Psalm 33:12 Ministries. He is a member of Church of God of Prophecy, 25 Nugent Street, Spanish Town, Jamaica and attends The Prayer Palace Church of God in Canada. He has a Bachelors Degree in Relationship with God. 

 

Joan Ross – Chief Operating Officer 

Joan Ross was born in Manchester Jamaica; she attended Fairfield All Age School and St. Richard's Primary School. She migrated to Canada at an early age. There she attended Ascension of Our Lord Catholic School, York University and The University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
 

Joan is a Registered Nurse, Canadian Risk Management CRM) certified, and has earned the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Currently, Joan is a Commercial Insurance Broker Executive. She serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Barrelman Radio/BarrelNation Psalm 33:12 Ministries
Joan is married to Dwight Ross; she’s a mother and a devout Christian for over 25 years. She attends the Prayer Palace Church of God. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Beverley Buchanan- Director Finance

Beverley Buchanan was born in the parish of St. Mary, Jamaica. She is a graduate of Holy Trinity (Senior) High School in Kingston then migrated to England. In England, she attended Derby Technical College.  She holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics (minor in Politics) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Management from Middlesex University in London.  She is a certified CompTIA A plus Technician and International Computer Driving License (ICDL) in Microsoft.

 

Beverley worked in a number of capacities at the Institute of Bankers in London. She served at the Metropolitan Home Ownership England, Global Access Bank in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and currently a key operative at the SVG National Centre of Technological Innovation in St. Vincent and the Grenadines where she now resides.

Beverley has been a child of God for over twenty (20) years and is a member of New Creation Baptist Church at Peruvian Vale SVG. She enjoys gardening, sewing and decorating.
 

Nerece Wilson - Administrative Secretary

Nerece is a passionate Christian who believes in persevering through challenges, while acknowledging that mistakes are proof that efforts are being made. She grew up in the Phillippo Baptist Church and got baptised in 1975, emerging as the youngest ever to be baptised there. She’s a graduate of St. Catherine High School and has an Associate Degree in Accounting, Certification in the ACL Auditing Package and TeamMate Auditing Software, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certification in Government Accounting and Audit Techniques. Nerece’s professional career includes working with Nabisco Brands, nine years as clerical officer with the Ministry of Health and four years in the banking sector. She is currently an Auditor with the Ministry of Health, a position she has held for over 17 years.

Nerece is a member of the Ebony Vale Baptist Church where she serves as Assistant Class Leader, Member of the Evangelism and Care Committees, Substitute Teacher for the Younger Children’s Group Family Bible Hour. She served on the Executive of the St. Catherine Baptist Association Youth Arm (SACABAYA) from 2002 to 2013, President for the 2012 – 2013 period. She also serves on the following committees: The St. Catherine Baptist Association (SACABA) Sports Committee, Doping Officer/Chaperone with the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO), Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Assistant Treasurer of the Bellevue Heights Citizen’s Association.

Nerece loves reading the gospel, listening to gospel music and doing biblical research; she’s an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction material that depicts real-life situations and she loves writing short stories and poems. Her life’s motto is “I am a survivor” following surgery for breast cancer. She believes that life is centred on God and the church, and strives to leave a positive impact on acquaintances. She also believes wholeheartedly in the Saviour, that He died for all. She serves God unconditionally, working to ensure “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Denise Durrant-Buckle - Director/Advisor Strategic Development and Programming
Denise grew up in Manchester and St. Elizabeth and is a graduate of DeCarteret College, Mandeville, Jamaica. Denise holds two degrees in Business Management; Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).  


Denise’s professional career includes 11 years in life insurance, three years in advertising, three years in the airline industry and 12+ years in the healthcare industry. She currently works as Licensing Manager for a leading provider of senior healthcare services in the United States.


Denise is a born again child of God who believes in the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. In her local church, she’s held various positions, sat on many committees and today, she is a praise leader and choir director. She’s also involved with the Ladies and Mission Ministries.  Denise has been an avid listener of Barrelman Radio since its inception and has offered her services in many areas. She is passionate about spreading the gospel and reaching “one soul at a time.”
Denise is also a Notary, married, with children.

Judy Russell - Director/Advisor Marketing and Promotion
Judy was born in the garden parish of St Ann, Jamaica, and later migrated to the USA, where she has been living for the past 30+ years.  
She is girded with a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked the past 24 years in the Marketing Division of a Global Consumer Products Goods (CPG) company, and prior to that, with an advertising agency for five (5) years. 
 
Judy’s life encompasses serving in ministry and has volunteered her services to the Public Relations Department in her local church for over 13 years.  Her involvement in this ministry has seen her assisting in the orchestration of several mission trips in Jamaica.  Judy, a dedicated Christian   is buoyed by a passion of service to others and lives true to the Bible verse, Philippians 2:4  “not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.”
 
She loves the Lord wholeheartedly and wants to help spread the gospel throughout the earth. She sees serving in BarrelNation as a catalyst that will change the world.  God is using this dynamic ministry to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the masses and being a part of this endeavor is an absolute privilege.

 

Asana Elliston- Director /Advisor Strategic Development- Planning

Asana Elliston was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica and later moved to Spanish Town, St. Catherine. She accepted Christ as her personal savior in 1997 and was active within the youth group, particularly with the netball team and choir.  Asana also lead the children’s choir at the Faith Miracle Temple Church of God where she visited regularly. Later, she joined her husband in England and accepted the right hand of fellowship in Bethel Church of God of Prophecy. 

Asana holds a Diploma in Childcare and Education, Diploma in Business Studies and Gold Standard in Palliative Care. Asana has been a devout listener to Barrelman Radio since 2016 and has offered her skills and services, served on many committees and is the Team Lead for the United Kingdom region. She is deeply passionate about spreading the Gospel and evangelizing for Christ. Asana is also the mother of three girls. 

Jodi Bigby Director/Advisor Online Services/Promotion

Jodi Bigby was born in Jamaica and is now residing in Atlanta, Georgia. She has served the Lord for most of her life, and has worked in her home church, starting in her teens as a nursery attendant and most recently, as a youth minister. 

With a background in sales and marketing with companies such as Prada, Bloomingdale's, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, she brings strong communication skills and a sharp eye for polish and detail to the Advisory Board. She also brings over 10 years of branding and business development experience, specializing in upscale lifestyle brands and luxury start-ups.

Georgia Murray- FloridaNation
Team Members: JoAnn Burnett, Evelyn Branford, Angelique James.

Georgia Murray was born in Lawson District. St. James, Jamaica. She left Jamaica at an early age to live in Canada.   Later, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she currently resides. Georgia attends Shiloh Church in Jacksonville Florida where she works in the children’s ministry. 

Georgia has been working for one of the largest banks in the United States for over ten years. She recently graduated from their Leadership Academy and continues to grow. She is an encourager, motivator and a humble worker for CHRIST. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, listening to good music and fellowshipping with family and good friends. Georgia’s advice is "Try Him (This Christ) today and you won`t regret it."

Marcia White- NYTri-StateNation
Team Members: Carolyn McLean, Donnette Ballentine, Dianne Eastman-Prendergast, Kenneth Cyrus, Marilyn Nichol.

Marcia White is a child of God who knows what it is to fall down, get up, brush off and praise again, in her Christian walk.  She is the sixth of eight siblings between her mom and her late father.  Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she was baptized Catholic.  She later relocated to Top Hill in St Elizabeth where she spent her early years.  During these formative years, she attended the Top Hill Primary School and later Hampton High School.  She was an active member of The Salvation Army, Top Hill which at the time was the only church within walking distance in the community. 
 
Marcia spent most of her working years in the banking industry while pursuing her studies at the University of the West Indies.  On completion, still self-motivated she relocated to New York. 
In New York, she pursued an MBA in Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management at Iona College, New Rochelle.  She is currently preparing for the Training Administrator in Medical Education (TAGME) certification.
 
Since relocating to New York, Marcia has worked in the Healthcare Industry and she is presently a Training Program Administrator in Healthcare education.
 
Marcia’s involvement with the Barrel Nation Psalm 33:12 family started from the early inception of the program.  This involvement has not only created a new family for her but has strengthened her walk with God immensely.   It has provided her with a loving church home at the Bible Vision Church of God, led by Barrel Nation member Pastor Jean Roper.  Marcia is also a member of the Barrel Nation Purpose Driven Prayer Team 

 

Novlet Green - BahamaNation
Team Members: JudyMay Johnson, Glasmine Humes, Patrice Wallace, Kayanna Thompson, Charmaine Davis, Donna Green Brown.

Novlet B. Green was born in the hills of Brandon Hill, Clarendon, Jamaica. She attended the Brandon Hill All Age School. She is the fourth child and has seven siblings.   Novlet is the mother of one son. 
 
Novlet is a very active member of Barrel Nation; she loves the Lord, loves to have fun, read, and meeting people. Aunty Novlet, as she’s affectionately called, is very passionate about the Word of God and the great commission.  She was one of the founders of the Barrel Nation Purpose Driven Prayer Team where they strongly believe that nothing beats prayer but prayer beats everything, so pray without ceasing.
 
Her life’s verse is "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)
